Faisalabad Cricket under Mafia

Every field of this world requires its specialists to flourish on merit towards betterment and so as cricket. Unfortunately Pakistan Cricket has been has been under influence of people who are no where related or associated with the knowledge of cricket in their resume. This catastrophe has been poisoning cricket of Pakistan in domestic and national level.

Recently voice has been raised in Faisalabad Region where game and selection is becoming deprived of merit. Number of ex cricketers and officials of Faisalabad including Test player Mohammad Salman raised an issue against Tariq Fareed to save Faisalabad Cricket from merit killing mafia. Accusation has been made that despite not being officials of any level of Faisalabad cricket, few people are being influential and interfering into issues of region for the sake of self benefits.

Moreover they have not even played any level of cricket but are dictating and running all levels of cricket from Under 13 to Under 19. Few players have also complained the inappropriate behavior including foul language which is unacceptable for growing kids and their parents. Such Managers and officials of regional and Under 19 teams are notified to be associated with the team who are nowhere in the history of this game.

Though Faisalabad Region has won Grade-II this year but last 5 years have been extremely painful for Faisalabad cricket where no progress in region has been made. People who have nothing to do in their lives take a political stance and indulge themselves into issues of cricket which is becoming very common in Pakistan and PCB has to eliminate it from the system in order to improve grass root level cricket.
